Malaysia Added to 2026 F1 Calendar, Replacing Bahrain Amid Ongoing Conflict The 2026 Formula One calendar has undergone significant changes, with Malaysia added to the schedule in place of Bahrain for the postponed Grand Prix.
This decision comes as a result of ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which had initially led to the cancellation of races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit will host the event from October 2 4, marking a return to hosting F1 races after a nine year absence. The last event took place in 2017.
